Let it rain, let it rain….
Well let me tell you, when it decides to rain in Cabo it REALLY RAINS !!!
We were woke from a deep sleep early this morning by the rain coming down and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing. Obviously we missed out having breakfast on the beach. I hope there is still a beach to go to after this one. We drove into town with Doug & Bonnie to have lunch and the water was already flooding into some of the stores. The streets were almost impassable with the water coming down from the hills around town. If you haven’t been in a heavy rain storm in a desert area before you couldn’t have any idea of what it’s like. We decided to make it back to our third floor condo and wait it out by reading and eating our way through the day.
Wednesday…It was still raining this morning when we got up but showed signs of stopping soon. We decided to do some domestic chores today like washing clothes and washing windows. The clothes got finished but I lagged behind on the windows long enough that it stopped raining. We decided to “catch the bus” to Centro and take in a movie. Great choice !! On the way back we found a internet café attached to Dunkin Doughnuts within ¼ mile from the condo….what a break!! Can’t wait for tomorrow morning to give them BOTH a try.
